On Saturday August 12th Sevier County EMT’s and Deputies were paged to a fatal motorcycle crash in the Glenwood hills area north-east of Glenwood. 19 year old Hunter Jensen (Draper, Ut) was riding motorcycles with a 16 year old juvenile friend. They were riding back to their truck to get something to drink. Jensen arrived at the truck but his friend was not behind him. Jensen went back looking for the juvenile and discovered he had crashed on the way to the truck. Jensen was not able to revive the juvenile and raced back to the truck to dial 911. As deputies and EMT’s arrived they attempted life saving measures but were unable to revive him due to his injuries. Preliminary investigation shows the 16 year old juvenile from Junction Utah had missed a turn at a high rate of speed and slammed into a ravine. The juveniles helmet was thrown off of the juvenile victim. It appears the helmet was not buckled at the time if the crash. Our condolences to the family and friends of the juvenile.
